Nordstrom has released its pre-sale catalog for the much-anticipated upcoming anniversary sale and it is loaded with goodies.
I’ve flipped through the e-book and found my favorite picks just for you. Here’s what I’ll be eyeing when the sale starts. Are any of these items on your wish-list?
Voluspa ‘Maison Blanc’ Candle Trio (mini & two-wick)
I love Voluspa candles, and a candle trio like this literally makes the perfect gift. Plus, since it comes in two options, you can choose your price point.
How beautiful do these brushes look? I’m pretty picky with the brushes I use, so I don’t tend to go for kits. But this one might be too good to pass up.
As much as I may not want to think about the up-coming fall season, it’s always great to plan ahead. And these booties are a great chose if your in the market for a new pair.
I’ve had a pair of UGG slippers for years, so I’ll say they’re definitely an investment. They might seem expensive for slippers, but when you think of cost per use… you should get your wear out of them.
How gorgeous does this palette look? I think it’ll be a great all-round face & cheek palette.
I love the taupe color of these heels, and I guess I’m not quite ready to move past the lace-up trend, because I’m loving these heels.
I had a few people ask me about my Steve Madden booties from last season, and although they aren’t available anymore, these ones are pretty close. Plus, you can’t really go wrong with booties priced under $100.
The adidas sneaker is obviously huge right now. And you can score this pair on sale, so who wouldn’t?
I borrowed these awesome Sam Edelman Ocie heels from a friend before an event last weekend, and all I can say is that they did not disappoint. Although they are a little snug for those with a bit of a wide foot (like me), they are such a good dupe for the Valentino Rockstud pumps that I couldn’t pass up my chance to use them for a night.
I’m also wearing this red dress from Banana Republic I recently picked up (and it’s on sale!). It has a tight fit, but the stretch makes it very comfortable for long-day wear. I also love that I’ve paired it with these studded heels and black aviators to edge-up what would be a simple look.

Investment and inexpensive don’t exactly go hand in hand.
In reality, when someone says something is an investment, they basically mean it’s going to cost you a fair amount of money.
But that’s not this kind of post.
These are my top investment shoes under $150 because these are styles and brands that stand the test of time, but don’t cost you a fortune while doing so.
Here are my investment shoes under $150:
These shoes are the perfect summer heel. They’re classic and the beige color does an awesome job at elongating the leg. Also, the ankle strap helps secure your foot, making them easier to walk in for long periods of time.
I debated buying these booties for literally years, but didn’t take the plunge until a few months ago. The crazy thing is that I’ve purchased multiple boots in between the first time I wanted them and the day I purchased them, and none have stood the test of time as much as this pair. These are just as in style today as the day they were released, and how can you go wrong with a great pair of black booties?
I know I already told you about my love affair with Gigi sandals here. But, I’ll be honest, when I began to think about this list, they were the first ones on it. I’ve had pairs of these for years and years, and with a few minor scuffs, you’d never know it. They are still as in style today as they were the day I bought them, and I never go anywhere warm without making sure a pair of Gigis are coming along with me. They slide on, stay on, and can be worn for hours without breaking a sweat.
I’ve mentioned these pumps before (and worn them here). They’re my go-to heels when I know I’ll be walking a lot. They aren’t too tall, but they’re still high enough to show off your legs and dress up an outfit. They’re a bit hard to find, so I’ve linked a few similar ones below as well.
This is one of my most loved posts to date, and I think it has to do with how simple and effortless, yet neutral and versatile this look is. I literally want to wear it every single day.
My love for this outfit probably has a lot to do with my obsession with this Forever 21 dress. At under $20, the simple skater style can’t be beat! I should add it also comes with a belt, but I’ve opted to remove it.
I also find Forever 21 can be hard to shop at sometimes because their dresses, shorts, and skirts run short. And this is coming from a 5’4 girl! The being said, Forever 21 also lists their item lengths online, which is helpful when you can’t try things on.
I’ve linked a few similar (even cheaper) dresses, since my dress is already sold out.
The look is paired with my Vince Camuto’s Winola sandals and my Prada wallet on a chain, which are favorites of mine.
I love these Georgina gladiator sandals from Rebecca Minkoff. They have a total rock-stud look — without the Valentino price tag — and are comfortable enough to wear all day long. I feel like they’ve taken an edgy style, the gladiator sandal, and added black studs to elevate it one step further. I’m also totally coveting them in this blush color.
I’ve paired these shoes with some Gap denim (one of my fave places to shop for jeans), and a Gap linen tee (also a must-have in my wardrobe!), as well as my trusty Prada WOC.
